The answer:  June, May, April, March, September, August, July, October, November, December, February, January

The questionWhat are the wettest to driest months of the year by average precipitation across the United States?

Hope you enjoyed this pathetic attempt at Jeopardy.

There is a point though.

When the rainy season comes, be sure you have your car ready by installing quality windshield wiper blades.

The last thing you want are old, brittle wiper blades that don’t push enough water off the windshield and keeps you from seeing clearly.

You need to replace your wiper blades yearly.  But when should you do it?

Most times, you think about it when you’re driving through a real gully-washer and you find yourself leaning closer to the dashboard because you think it might help you see better.

Then you metaphorically kick yourself for not doing it a week earlier.

Been there, done that…so I came up with a plan.  My pain is your gain.

And because I’m a ‘zig when everyone else zags’ kind of guy, I replace our family’s wiper blades…

In the driest months.

Since my girls are now out of the house, the only time we know they’ll be back at the house for a few days is over Christmas.  So that’s when I replace all the wiper blades for every vehicle we own.

It’s easier to do all of them at once instead of trying to remember which car I’ve done and which I haven’t.

Christmas has come and gone, but February is the next-to-last dry month before it gets rainy from March through June.

So there’s still time to get all your vehicles outfitted with new wiper blades before the rainy season gets started.

And here’s a second tip:  When you replace all the wiper blades, set an annual alarm to remind you to do it again in 365 days.  That way you know you and your family are driving around with flexible and effective wiper blades.

For the past few years, our family has used PEAK Windshield Wiper Blades.  I normally put the Optix series on our cars.  If you need some high-performance blades, you can step up to the Silicone Platinum.  Your call.

Either way, order some for your vehicles today.  You’ll know that everyone in your family will be safer because they can see clearly when the next downpour happens.

As always, I hope this helps.

Be Safe, Have Fun,
